Female Residential House Staff


Kansas City House of Hope, a residential group home for girls ages 12-17, is now hiring full-time House Staff.

Each House Staff member is responsible for working with the team to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the young women in our care. Staff is responsible for building relationships with the residents and maintaining a healthy and responsible environment through consistent love, acceptance, discipline and example.

House Staff position must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends and overnights, and/or mornings. Staffing schedule will rotate.

Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the daily routines and behavior of the residents.
2. Enforce all house rules and policies pertaining to the operation of the house and it’s residents.
3. Discipline fairly, consistently and lovingly in relationship to the individual needs and behaviors of the residents in conjunction with Team recommendation.
4. Demonstrate appropriate affection, care and attentiveness to each resident.
5. Communicate/Document shift activities, victories and issues to rest of Team.
6. Set a continual example of strong Christian character & ethics as well as a Teachable Spirit.

Compensation : Salary + meals while on duty

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license and car insurance. Some college course work is a plus. Must be able to multi-task, be extremely well organized and have a heart to minister to troubled teens. Pastoral reference required. We will train the right person. See graduated pay scale.

Pay Scale:
0-3 months $1400.00/month
3-6 months $1500.00/month
6+ months $1667.00/month

We are looking for a minimum of 12 month commitment
